  • Prior severe reaction to injectable peptides
  • Cloudy solution or with particles
  • Expired product or damaged pen
  • Pregnancy, breastfeeding, or < 18 years

Like any injectable, it may cause side effects. Most are mild and transient. Severe symptoms require immediate medical attention.

→ By frequency
  • Very common: redness, mild swelling, injection-site tenderness, local warmth
  • Common: itching, temporary skin tightness, mild bruising, flushing, headache, fatigue
  • Uncommon: nausea, dizziness, mild digestive discomfort, local inflammation
  • Rare: local allergic reaction, injection-site nodules, persistent swelling
  • Very rare: hypersensitivity reaction, generalized rash, shortness of breath, severe allergic reaction
